The beginner and "switch over" course!

You are beginners or experienced fishermen/-women for example on whitefish and you want to switch over to predator fishing and you don't have much experience in that range? Then my course for beginners and/or "switch over" is just right for you.

Here you will learn all of the basics of Predator fishing. First we will see what your needs and desires are and we will figure out what fish is most interesting for your group. After we have figured that out, then we have to check what kind of tackle you will need to catch the specific fish that your group wants to fish for.

Another important question is:
In what type of water will we be able to find our target fish and what are the best spots in that water where we have the best chances of catching them? Another important question is, what kind of fishing rod do we have to use and of course which lures or bait do we have to choose for our target fish and which fishing method is the best.

Of course the information doesn't stop there. I can show your group how to use the different types of lures and what is the correct bait guidance and fishing method and of course how to treat the fish that you have caught respectfully and without causing it more harm than necessary. Then we have to ask the question what will the participants do with the fish that they caught? Will they be released again or not? If the decision is to keep and prepare the catch, then I will also show you how to kill the fish correctly and how to gut or fillet it.

The goal of this course:
The main goal of this course is that when your group leaves my course, they will be able to go to the water without me and fish for there specific target fish with a good chance of success!

I believe it makes the most sense to use your own fishing equipment, during the fishing course. So that I can teach the group how to use there own equipment correctly and also show where some things might have to be changed or optimized. Of course it is also possible to get a limited amount of the equipment you need from me.

It is also similar with the topic of the water we fish in. I recommend taking our courses right there where you normally fish, so that I can show your group how to read your own water and how to find the best fishing spots. That way your group will be able to get to know there own water a lot better! But in that case there will be additional costs for my drive to the water, depending on how far it is.

What is necessary for the beginner or switch over course:
In Germany you have to have a fishing license to fish in most of the rivers and lakes and a separate permission license for each different water. Which also means an extra charge for the license if it is necessary. We also have the possibility to fish in a put-and-take pond. Here each fish that is caught has to be separately paid for to the pond owner.

The minimum number of participants is two people. The equipment that I can borrow is enough for up to 6 participants!
